Lovely, all of these. Little Pride is a cutie, nice to see Cloud in him. This was wonderful to see each of them. I particularly like the last image….. magical!
Beautiful photos!! Wow! The horses look so good (most of them). MUD!! Love the pic of Pele flat out sleeping. Tecumseh is so muscled and rugged looking this year – he looks great! Outlawlass must have really made her mother mad! Love the one of Outlawlass kicking! Fiesta looks a little tired of following, following, following. Great pics that say so much!
I LOVE all of these pictures 😀 thank you for sharing!!
Oceana, Okomi, Ojai, and Okiotak have really developed into beautiful yearlings. Moorcroft looks so good!
Doc certainly inherited one of the best-looking bands of mares on the mountain! Do the mares seem to have accepted him more this year?
Love the pictures of Nye in the water! And the ones of Outlaw being sassy! Would love to know what she did to rile her mother up so much! Speaking of sass, London has his fair share of it! I find it interesting he was breeding La Brava-did she seem inclined to leave her band? If so, I wonder if Blue Sioux would find her way back to Coronado?
That picture of Petite Colour in the grass is just gorgeous! She’s so precious 🙂 Love the shots of Sequoyah too.
Glad Demure seems to be fitting in with her new band. 🙂
These are such awesome pictures, thanks for sharing. 🙂 If Phoenix is still kicking, how old is she? Cloud is 20 now! How young was she when she had Cloud?
Also some of the mares look pregnant-ish to me but I’m no expert so no idea really! But if you have any pictures of Jasper to share, I look forward to them! I think he became my favorite horse last summer.
Love the pictures!! Nye and Odakota seemed to really be enjoying the mud 🙂 Oceana is such a cutie! She is looking more and more beautiful as she gives us more and more glimpses of her without her furry winter coat. And wow does Tecumseh look great! The best I have seen him look in years!! It definitely makes me happy to see him looking so good. Love that picture of Petite Colour sleeping in the grass. Ojai is turning into the spitting image of her brother Nahwa. I hope at least one of them will evade the removal. Looks like Washakie has another on the way. The lighting looks so beautiful on Pheonix and Juniper’s coats in those last few photos!
I love seeing Grijala and his new little band. I hope we might see a foal for him and Gracianna next year. I also love that picture of Broken Bow and Pride. The mares in that band seem to really love him. I’ve noticed it seems a lot of mares have a renewed sense of purpose when they have a foal to look after, even if it’s not theirs.
I was surprised to see the picture of London breeding LaBrava. Mostly surprised to see that Irial let her wander off to be bred by someone else. Was he just not paying attention or did he not seem to care? London and her would make one beautiful baby too. They’re both the same gorgeous shade of bay, with LaBrava also being roan of course. With LaBrava’s sire and Irial’s dam being full siblings it wouldn’t be so bad to see her join another stallion. I guess we shall see 🙂
I was definitely thinking that LaBrava joining another band certainly couldn’t hurt! The more genetic diversity the better! Unfortunately it’s the same concern with Irial X Manuelita….I don’t want him to be left without any breeding mares though (I’m sure they’ll be darting Fools Gold under the new protocol). At any rate, we shall see!
I would definitely like to see M’lita in another band. Her more than LaBrava. M’lita’s dam grandsire (Diamond/Teton), M’lita’s sire (Red Raven/Coronado), and Irial’s dam (Electra/Ireland) are all full siblings. Just a little too much relation between M’lita and Irial. I had hoped M’lita and Dove would stick with Horizon, but it wasn’t to be. But there’s still a couple years before M’lita enters the breeding window so hopefully the situation will resolve itself by then.

Wonderful photos! So many of them showing horse society and relationship. My favorites are the various shots of London with the boys. Tecumseh has really rallied. Hope Cloud does too.
Love these pictures 🙂 Olivia is looking so grown up now! Love the one of Jasper in beautiful self carriage, showing himself off. Really wish I could magic myself into the space you have in August!
Sandy, you know how I love foals in spring flowers. The photo of Noble is pretty near perfect!! And the tent with the warm glow makes one want to crawl right in, toss back the flap and star gaze all night!! Your photos are wonderful!!

Thank you Laura!

I’m so pleased for Tecumseh 😀 he lend hard for his little family!!

Am I mistaken, or is that someone else London is breeding? She looks like a dun roan 🙂
