I received an email from Shawn Ivie, this morning at 7:30 am.  He had spotted Firestorm and her new foal and wanted me to see them.  Thank you so much Shawn!! I will also add, that this was taken with Shawn’s cellphone.  Shawn’s photos are amazing, the link to his website is on the side of this post if you would like to see more of his work. • I love the name Okami! According to the Pryor Mustang Centre it means “coyote” which I think is a neat connection to Jackson 🙂 glad everything seems to have gone alright for the birth, even after the stress this band has been through this month!

  • Glad everything was able to go well with Firestorm foaling. Can’t wait to see pictures!!! It only took Jackson 5/6 years to produce a dun foal with Firestorm. That’s great if it’s a coyote dun. I wonder how a coyote dun roan would look since all of Firestorm’s foals have roaned out.

  • aww looks like a little cutie! I look forward to the rest of Shawn’s photos and hearing about how Firestorm and Okomi are doing in their new band!

  • Thanks to you and Shawn for this glimpse of the little guy and his dam. 🙂 Good to see them surrounded by green. I also like that pic of Jackson and Doc. Who would have thought…
