    1. Hi Terry, Shawn Ivie found Firestorm’s foal and so he will most likely be naming her or him. Both Brumby and Firestorm are still with Jackson. I am not sure if Brumby is going to foal this year.

  1. What a little cutie!! Looks a lot like Maelstrom! I came up with some name suggestions for her. In Arabic “Nuria” means fire. In hebrew that same name also refers to God’s fire. In latin “Necia” means fiery. And in Turkish “Nuraya” means fire. I thought any of those would be fitting 🙂

      1. Generally though haven’t Firestorm’s and his foal’s been different? They’ve had Kalahari, LeDoux, and Maelstrom. I know his foals with both Brumby and Galena have had town/city names.

  2. Love that new baby! So healthy looking—bright-eyed and bushy tailed. 🙂 I am so looking forward to seeing that whole family in June. 🙂 I sure wish one of Jackson’s foals would be a coyote dun like him.

Anyway, it’s always a pleasure to view pics of Jackson and Firestorm. I really like Firestorm’s long and graceful stride, and her color is so interesting, too. I think I’ll just spend a whole day observing that family this time out. Keeping a respectful distance and not aggravating them, of course. They sure didn’t seem to mind our being there last time, coming closer than they’d have needed to. 🙂

Looking forward to more birth announcements…
