A third Pryor foal was born in captivity (from the 2012 removal horses). Kachina had her foal this morning, a colt! Thank you Darlene H. for letting me know!
Kachina is the 2010 daughter of Washakie and Baja. The father of the colt is most likely Grijala. Kachina had been with Grijala since at least March of 2012 until the day I saw her removed the end of July last year. Grijala is the 2006 son of Cavelitta and Conquistador.
Looks so much like his older brother that Katrina had! I wish they could grow up and play together, but I’m so glad they each have great homes! Love the star like his Daddy 🙂 He’s so cute! Kachina really looks great too. I’ve always thought she’s such a pretty dun. I hope someone spots Kindra soon. If she’s got a foal with her, I’m interested to see if it looks like its two older siblings.
He is so cute! Love the star!
Awwww How beautiful! Kachina looks so good too! thanks Sandy and Trisha. Best of luck with your new little foal!!!! Yes…the Grijala star is so neat, and the shoulder bars? Or is that just a shadow? He or she is so cute!
I think shoulder bars! Navarre (Katrina’s) has them too 🙂
You are welcome Lori. Yes, those look like shoulder bars. 🙂
Another little BEAUTY!
Yes he is! 🙂
Awesome!
What a beautiful little colt! He looks so but like Grijala! Do you know if he has a name? Omg I love him! I cant stop staring at the foal! Is there a way you could ask the owner to send updates and you could post them on your blog!
Hi Kylie! Yes, I hope to post updates on them!
It’s so great they both look so good. One of my favorite pics from the mountaintop 2012 is of Kachina. She’s a beauty, for sure. I, too, hope we get to see updates. 🙂
Kachina is a very pretty girl. Her colt looks like daddy Grijala. He is so cute.
I am glad that they have a nice home. I am looking forward to the updates on them.
I love the photos of Kachina in the Pryors on June 18, 2012 and Grijala in July 2012. He looked sad and upset.
Thank you Sandy for the updates.
The foal looks great! Also I was really curious as to what Flint’s (TCF name) technical name was. I know Bolder has the same name across the board and I thought Flint was Blue Moon but I wanted to make sure…
Hi Maleah! Yes, you are correct, Blue Moon AKA Flint! 🙂
